The beginning of the school year can be stressful for many students, having to adjust to a new schedule, new classes and new teachers. Students who start to struggle in the first month of school can set the tone for their performance and attitude for the rest of the year.

Wish you had done better in your Spanish class last semester? Is your class getting harder?
Sign up for tutoring at the beginning of the Spring semester to avoid scheduling hassles later on.
Private tutoring can help you truly understand all of the tough stuff that gets thrown at you in the second half of the school year. If you feel like last semester has left you in a bit of a daze, take matters into your own hands by working with a tutor who can help you get back on your feet, and even get ahead of the game.
No one likes feeling behind in a class, and because of the cumulative nature of languages, those pesky grammar bits that confused you last semester aren’t going to go away!
As a tutor, I can be your ally. By explaining difficult concepts, giving you some individual attention, and supporting you with your projects, papers and test prep, I can help you find the confidence you need to succeed in your Spanish class.

My mother went on vacation to Costa Rica last month, and when she came back she told me her tale or woe. She had forgotten the word for “yesterday” from her high school Spanish days. In her frustrated attempt to explain to the tour guide that she had already purchased her ticket yesterday, she kept repeating the word mañana, which means “tomorrow.” The tour guide was confused, and my mother was confused. All because of a simple breakdown in communication.
I was inspired to create a Spanish for Travelers course, to help others avoid this type of unfortunate situation. Learn the basics of travel-ready Spanish in this 6-week summer crash course.
Class suitable for beginning and intermediate level Spanish learners.
